Acciones para la implementación en el sistema educativo cubano de tecnologías emergentes identificadas por el informe Horizon /Action to Be Taken to Use Emerging Technologies Identified by the Horizon Project in the Cuban Education System

RESUMEN
El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo ofrecer una serie de acciones a tener en cuenta para la implementación de algunas tecnologías emergentes que podrían incrementar la eficiencia, el atractivo y la motivación de profesores y estudiantes en el sistema educativo cubano. Durante la realización de la investigación se analizaron estudios sobre tecnologías emergentes, como los informes Horizon. Se examinó cómo, desde una perspectiva de un país en desarrollo y con poca capacidad tecnológica, se pueden obtener beneficios de algunas de las innovaciones más importantes de la actualidad. Se propone la puesta en práctica de tecnologías y conceptos que pueden enriquecer el entorno de aprendizaje de cualquier individuo que desee enseñar o adquirir conocimientos en disímiles ambientes o formas.

ABSTRACT
This work is aimed at suggesting action to be taken to use some emerging technologies which may enhance the efficiency of the Cuban education system, and its appeal for teachers and students, so they may be more motivated. The Horizon Project reports were used as guidelines in studying trends in the usage of technology in education. It was examine how a developing and not technologically advanced country may benefit from today’s major innovations. It is claimed that teaching and learning environments may be significantly improved by using emerging technologies.
